(1) In this
section—
"designated authority" means—
(a) the
Chief Public Health Officer; or
(b)
SAPHC; or
(c) a
government department or agency; or
(d) a
council or council subsidiary.
(2) The Minister may
require a designated authority to provide a report on any matter relevant to
the administration or operation of this Act.
(3) In a case
involving a council, the Minister may require that the council provide a
combined report with 1 or more other councils.
(4) A requirement
under this section may be (but need not necessarily be) that a report be
provided—
(a) on a
periodic basis specified by the Minister; or
(b) on
or in relation to the occurrence of an act or event specified by the Minister.
(5) A
designated authority must provide the report in accordance with the
requirements of the Minister.
(6) This section does
not limit the operation of any other provision relating to the provision of
reports.
