(1) A
registered social worker must, on request by a prescribed person for a purpose
related to the provision of prescribed social work services by the
social worker, produce the person's certificate of registration.
Maximum penalty: $1 250.
Expiation fee: $160.
(2) In this
section—
"prescribed person" means—
(a) the
Registrar, or a person authorised by the Registrar; or
(b) a
person to whom the social worker has provided, or is providing,
social work services; or
(c) a
service provider who has provided, or who is proposing to provide,
social work services through the social worker; or
(d) any
other person brought within the ambit of this definition by the regulations.
