42—Cause for disciplinary action
(1) There is proper
cause for disciplinary action against a registered social worker if—
(a) the
person's registration was improperly obtained; or
(b) the
person is guilty of unprofessional conduct; or
(c) a
working with children check has not been conducted in relation to the
social worker within the preceding 5 years; or
(d) the
person is for any reason no longer a fit and proper person to be registered as
a social worker under this Act.
(2) In this section, a
reference to a "registered social worker includes a reference to a person who
is not but who was, at the relevant time, registered under this Act.
