83—Refund on surrender of licence
For the purposes of sections 75AAA(11)(b) and 98A(4) of the Act, the
amount to be refunded on the surrender of a driver's licence or motor driving
instructor's licence is an amount equal to the product obtained by multiplying
one quarter of the annual licence fee paid for the issue of the licence
by the number of complete 3 month periods in the unexpired portion of the
period for which the licence was issued.
