This legislation has been repealed.
115—No contribution from workers
(1) An employer shall
not deduct from the wages of a worker any part of any sum that the employer is
or may become liable to pay under this Act.
(2) An employer shall
not discriminate against a worker on the ground that the employer is liable to
pay any sum under this Act to or in relation to the worker.
(3) An employer shall
not require or permit a worker to contribute in any manner towards
indemnifying the employer against any liability which the employer may incur
under this Act.
(4) A person who
contravenes this section—
(a) is
guilty of an offence; and
(b) is
liable to compensate a worker for any monetary loss suffered by virtue of that
contravention.
