Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) An authorised officer may serve an infringement notice on any person whom the officer has reason to believe has committed an offence against this Act or the regulations that is prescribed for the purposes of this subsection.
(2) An offence referred to in subsection (1) for which an infringement notice may be served is an infringement offence within the meaning of the Infringements Act 2006 .
(3) The infringement penalty for an offence prescribed for the purposes of subsection (1) is the prescribed infringement penalty.
(4) In this section, "authorised officer" includes the following—
(a) the Head, Recycling Victoria;
(b) a person authorised in writing by the Head, Recycling Victoria;
(c) a prescribed person or class of persons.
