Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) The Secretary must ensure that each brothel in respect of which a licence is in force under Part 3 of the Prostitution Control Act 1994 is inspected at least once in every 12 months by an authorised officer.
(2) At the request of an authorised officer, a brothel proprietor must allow the authorised officer to interview sex workers on the brothel premises without the brothel proprietor being present.
Penalty: 60 penalty units.
(3) In this section," authorised officer" means an
authorised officer appointed by the Secretary under section 30 whose
appointment includes the power to conduct inspections and interviews under
this section.
