Archaeological and Aboriginal Relics Preservation Act 1972 - SECT 28 

General penalty


28. General penalty



(1) A person who contravenes or fails to comply with any of the provisions of
this Act or the regulations shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.

(2) A person who is guilty of an offence against this Act shall be liable to a
penalty not exceeding $1000 or to imprisonment for not more than three months
or to both.
