Regulations32. Regulations The Governor in Council may make regulations for the control and preservation of relics and of archaeological areas and generally for carrying this Act into effect and, in particular, without in any way limiting the generality of the foregoing, for or with respect to- (a) prescribing the forms to be used under this Act; (b) the keeping of records necessary or desirable for the purposes of this Act; (c) the making of returns; (d) any fees to be charged under this Act; (e) charging fees for admission to archaeological areas; (f) the conduct of the proceedings of the Advisory Committee; (g) the manner of making applications for permits for the excavation of relics, the gathering of objects forming part thereof and the conditions subject to which such permits will be granted; and (h) generally, any matter or thing authorized or required by this Act to be prescribed or necessary to be prescribed for carrying this Act into effect. --------------- ENDNOTES 1. Explanatory Details 1 S. 21: Part 10 Division 4 (ss 212, 213) of the Heritage Act 1995, No. 93/1995 reads as follows: Division 4-Archaeological and Aboriginal Relics Preservation Act 1972 212. Definitions In this Division "old Act" means the Archaeological and Aboriginal Relics Preservation Act 1972. 213. Consents On the commencement of this section- (a) any consent given by the Minister under section 21(2) of the old Act in relation to an archaeological relic within the meaning of this Act and in force immediately before that commencement is deemed to be a consent granted by the Executive Director under section 129 of this Act; and (b) any consent granted by the Minister under section 22 of the old Act in relation to an archaeological relic within the meaning of this Act and in force immediately before that commencement is deemed to be a consent granted by the Executive Director under section 129 of this Act; and (c) an application for a consent or permit made under section 21 or 22 of the old Act in relation to an archaeological relic within the meaning of this Act but not determined by the Minister before that commencement is deemed to be an application to the Executive Director for a consent under section 129 of this Act.
