The Commission may
inform a person to whom an allegation relates as to the outcome of any
investigation carried out by the Commission or an appropriate authority in
relation to the allegation if —
(a) the
person requests the information; or
(b) the
Commission considers that giving the information to the person is in the
person’s best interests,
and the Commission
considers that giving the information to the person is in the public interest.
