(1) If the Minister
has reasonable grounds for believing that a person is able to give information
that is relevant to the operation of this Act, the Minister may ask the person
to appear personally to —
(a) give
the information; and
(b)
answer questions about the activity to which the information relates.
Note:
The person must comply
with the request (see section 372).
(2) The Minister may
ask a person to appear before —
(a) the
Minister; or
(b) an
inspector nominated by the Minister.
(3) The request must
—
(a) be
made by written notice given to the person; and
(b)
specify the activity about which the information is sought or questions will
be asked; and
(c)
specify the address at which the person is to attend; and
(d)
specify the day on which and the time at which the person is to attend; and
(e)
indicate whether the appearance is to be before the Minister or before a
nominated inspector.
