(1) A person who holds
an activity licence must give written notification, in the approved form, to
the appropriate enforcement agency of any of these changes in relation to the
licence —
(a) the
person ceases to carry on a licensable activity authorised to be carried on by
the licence;
(b) any
change is made to a licensable activity authorised to be carried on by the
licence that is likely to affect the nature or extent of the public health
risk from that activity;
(c) any
other change in relation to the licence that is prescribed by the regulations.
(2) The person must
give the notification required under subsection (1) within 5 working days
after the relevant change takes place.
Penalty for an offence under this subsection:
(a) for
an individual — a fine of $10 000;
(b) for
a body corporate convicted under section 281 — a fine of $50 000.
