(1) Subject to this
section and to any relevant award or industrial agreement in force under the
Industrial Arbitration Act 1912 2 , the terms and conditions of employment of
officers or employees shall be such as are determined by the Commission,
including conditions with respect to punishment for breaches of discipline.
(2) The Commission
shall not, except with the approval of the Minister, determine the salary of a
position in the service of the Commission at a rate exceeding the equivalent
of the rate for the time being shown for the classification Group 1, Class 8
Administrative Division in the Public Service of the State.
