(1) If a person
applies to the CEO in writing or in an approved form for the cancellation of
the person’s assessment notice and the CEO reasonably believes that the
person does not carry out child-related work, the CEO may cancel the notice.
(2) If the CEO cancels
the person’s assessment notice, the CEO is to give the person written
notice of the cancellation.
