Western Australian Current Regulations Western Australian Current Regulations (a) Any
officer of the Department and any police officer may at any hour of the day or
night enter upon and inspect any vessel and the equipment, machinery and gear
in or about the vessel.
(b) Any
person who obstructs, threatens or interferes with an officer of the
Department or police officer when acting under the last preceding
subregulation shall be guilty of an offence.
(c) No
person on or about a vessel shall, on demand by an officer of the Department,
refuse to furnish the officer with the person’s name and address.
(d) The
Department may cancel or suspend any certificate granted by the Department
under any of the Acts to a person convicted of an offence under this
regulation.
