DEER EXPORT CHARGE ACT 1992 No. 31 of 1992 - SECT 8
Who pays the charge
8. A charge imposed by this Act is payable by the producer. (Note: Live deer
is a product prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (g) of
the definition of "producer" in subsection 4(1) of the Collection Act. This
means that the person who exports the live deer from Australia is the
producer.)
