SOCIAL SERVICES LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1982 No. 37, 1982 - SECT 38

38. Section 105P of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting ''Penalty: $40.''; and

   (b)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section and penalty:

''(3) Where a child who is in the custody, care and control of a person who
receives a handicapped child's allowance in pursuance of section 105J or 105JA
in respect of that child is, or has been, absent from his home, that person
shall, not later than 14 days after the commencement of that absence, notify a
Director accordingly.

Penalty: $40.''.
